Moving Path Tutorial
This is a tutorial on using the Moving Path filter in Ulead Media Studio to make the video shake around and stuff.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to make the video zoom in and
out, shake back and forth, up and down, diagonally, shake and zoom at
the same time, and rotate while shaking and zooming... pretty much make
the video go crazy and awesome.
The first thing you do is create a blank moving path filter, that you
can customize. First go to moving path, and click on 2D Advanced. Click
the dissapear filter, or any other one that rotates. Now, to reset the
filter to do nothing, click the diamond thing at the end.

Then set the width to 320, the height to 240, and the rotate degrees to 0.

Now that you have made this effect blank click add, and add that to
custom moving path as a blank filter (name it blank or something). This is the one that will
start out blank, that you can change whenever you want to create a new moving path effect.
Now drag the marker to where you want it and click the plus icon to get more diamonds on the
moving path. These will be different points in the effect.

Change the resolution and the video will zoom in.

Drag the red square to move the
video, so it shakes back and forth, up and down, or diagonally. This
changes the X and Y positions.

Change the rotation degrees to
rotate the video. You can make the video spin, and rotate back and
forth. Just remember, when you change the rotation on the first
diamond, it effects the rest, so you might have to keep resetting all
the diamonds to get your desired result.

Click on each of the diamonds, and
set different settings, zooming in and out, shaking the video, and when
you finish, press play on the preview, and it will show the MS doing
all the shaking and stuff. And you can change it. Then when you're
done, click add to add your moving path to the custom folder. Later,
you can go into the custom folder and drag your effect onto a clip in
the timeline.
